Cal State Fullerton has two University Advancement supported platforms to you to utilize - Crowdfunding and our Day of Giving.

To receive donations, you must have a foundation account in place. You can . If no foundation fund exists, please contact your area鈥檚 or Grace Johnson at grjohnson@fullerton.edu to assist you in determining how best to receive donations.鈥�

Platforms

Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is a method of fundraising through the collective effort of friends, family, and fans. This approach taps into your network of contacts 鈥� primarily online via email and social media 鈥� for greater fundraising success.

You can utilize Cal State Fullerton鈥檚 crowdfunding platform during the fall semester. Key dates include:

  • July 1 - Submissions officially open
  • August 31 鈥� Submissions close
  • October 1 鈥� Crowdfunding begins
  • October 31 鈥� Crowdfunding ends

Day of Giving

Giving days are 24-hour online fundraising challenges aimed at rallying groups of people to support the university鈥檚 colleges, programs, and scholarships. Like crowdfunding, this fundraising method taps into personal networks 鈥� exclusively online via email and social media 鈥� and leverages gift matches and challenges to increase giving.

You can utilize Cal State Fullerton鈥檚 platform during the spring semester. Here is what you need to know:

  • Information Sessions - November & December 2024
  • Project page application deadline - January 19, 2025
  • Matching gift deadline - January 31, 2025
  • Project page completion date - February 5, 2025
  • Day of Giving - March 12, 2025
