Incident Reporting

If you experience or become aware of any suspicious activity, potential threats, or security issues involving Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ systems, data, or individuals, please contact the IT Helpdesk Ìýimmediately. Timely reporting helps us investigate, contain, and resolve incidents before they escalate.

Types of Incidents to Report

• Threat to Person:Ìý
  Includes cyberstalking, cyberbullying, online harassment, or any digital behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of a Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student, faculty, or staff member.
  
  
• System Vulnerability:Ìý
  If you discover a flaw, weakness, or misconfiguration in a Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ system, application, or network that could be exploited by attackers, report it immediately.
  
  
• Lost Device:
  Report any lost or stolen device, whether university-issued or personal that contains Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ data or has access to university systems.
  
  
• Data Exposure:
  If you find sensitive or confidential Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ data (e.g., student records, financial information, research data) stored on an unsecured server, shared publicly, or accessed without authorization.
  
  
• Website Defacement:Ìý
  If a Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ website has been altered, vandalized, or compromised in any way that affects its integrity or appearance.
  
  
• Phishing Email:Ìý
  If you receive a suspicious email that attempts to trick you into revealing personal information, clicking malicious links, or downloading harmful attachments.
  
  
• DMCA Violation:Ìý
  Report any copyright infringement involving Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ-hosted websites or systems, including unauthorized sharing of copyrighted materials.
  
  
• Any Other Security Issue:Ìý
  If you notice anything unusual, suspicious, or concerning that may affect the security of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s digital environment. Even if you're unsure, please report it.
