Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s philosophy program provides students with a breadth of knowledge and a depth of engagement with the history and current practices of philosophy. Our students not only study philosophy history, but also explore modern philosophical problems and specialty areas that students are interested in.


Distinction

Philosophy Symposium
The Philosophy Symposium is an annual spring conference that is partially organized by students in the Philosophy Club. Philosophy majors have the opportunity to network with professional philosophers and researchers and interact with their presentations.

CAREER PATH

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ alumni have been awarded graduate fellowships, served as interns in Congress and as fellows in the state legislature, been admitted to leading philosophy programs and law schools, and have pursued successful careers as teachers and business professionals.
